Introduction

Kimmo Tenhovirta has advised numerous companies on mergers and acquisitions and various other business transactions.

Kimmo has assisted both sellers and purchasers in very complicated negotiation processes and executed comprehensive arrangements related thereto, including several complex real estate transactions.

He has also acted as counsel for his clients in complex company restructuring processes, such as mergers, demergers and transfers of assets.

Kimmo has assisted mainly SMEs in different corporate and contractual assignments, including, among others, assignments relating to company administration,

financing and corporate governance as well as execution of complex contract negotiations and preparation of documentation. He regularly acts as a member or secretary of the board of directors in several companies.

Kimmo has also advised his clients on matters concerning public procurement and competition legislation. He has assisted numerous companies through the entire tender process, especially guiding clients through the tender and negotiation phases, as well as, handling appeals in the Market Court. Kimmo has also assisted his clients in investigation processes and negotiations with competition authorities relating to, among others, abuse of dominant position and matters connected with cartel legislation.

Kimmo also handles litigation and arbitration proceedings for his clients and acts as an arbitrator.
